Is auto-indent even supported or planned to be supported? It doesn't seem to work at least on C++ files or D files (with D plugin).

Also I'm not sure what the "format document means" but it doesn't do auto-indent.

For c++/D - no, these languages are more or less unsupported. But we would like have people doing the language backends.

Atm we can only support C# as backend, we would like to have:

+ all I have forgotton

(Maybe in that order :)) - but we simply don't have the resources to do. MonoDevelop is an open source project where everyone can contribute - we did get a C plugin, but it's not maintained anymore.
