RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 58112

Note that the Designer has selected the Detail View Controller and not the Split View Controller as the default view.

If you create a new Single View tvOS app and need to replace the single view with a Split View, when you remove the existing view and drag in the Split View, the Designer automatically selects the wrong View Controller as the default view controller (see attached image).

This is easily fixable by dragging the Default View Pointer to the Split View Controller (from the Detail View Controller) however it would be nice if the Designer automatically handled it for you as this might confuse new users.

I can confirm that this issue is also happening with VS for Mac 7.1 build 1281. Updating the report accordingly.

I was not able to reproduce this bug on VS for Mac 7.5 Preview build 59.

Sounds like a dupe of bug #58112.
