@Manuel, did you restart XS after the XI update ? I've seen cases where the msbuild files are not reloaded, so the old ones are still cached (in memory).
Comment 2 Abdullah Ibn Nadjo 2016-02-26 08:09:30 UTC

I had the same problem, it works now after restarting XS
Comment 3 manuel 2016-02-26 10:53:13 UTC
It is happening just when targeting the device. If we target a simulator it does not happen.
Note : I have no idea if it was happening when targeting the simulator before restarting Xamarin Studio.

Just notice that the error has a different face:

Error MT4109: Failed to compile the generated registrar code. Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.xamarin.com (MT4109)
Comment 5 Sebastien Pouliot 2016-02-26 17:25:00 UTC
@Manuel that 4109 is very likely a different issue. Can you file a different bug and include the build log (with -v -v -v -v) so we can see what triggered it ?

Also if the first error is not happening anymore then the restart "fixed" it. If you can confirm that I'll move this bug (it's likely a duplicate) to XS for further investigation. Thanks!
Comment 6 manuel 2016-02-26 19:55:17 UTC
First one does not seem to be happening. This new one, i'll file as private

We're tracking that bug on the Xamarin Studio side, right now you need to at least close your solution but the updater should really close the solution for you automatically.

Note: sorry bug 32716 is *not* a duplicate of this bug, pasted the wrong number initially.
