RESOLVED FIXED

Description Joseph Hanna 2016-02-24 10:39:54 UTC
Description of Problem:
If you modify XS 6 Preferences and do not click on "Markers & Rulers" tab to display the settings, all of the values on the Markers & Rulers tab are cleared.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open XS 6 build 4520
2. Open a code window.
3. Go to Xamarin Preferences
4. Go to Markers & Settings and check them all on
5. Click OK to exit preferences.
6. Notice line numbers and guides are visible in the code window.

7. Go to Xamarin Preferences
8. Click OK to exit preferences (do not change anything)
9. Notice line numbers and guides have disappeared.

10. Go to Xamarin Preferences
11. Go to Markers & Settings and notice all of the check boxes are cleared.
12. Click them all on again.
13. Click OK to exit preferences.
14. Notice line numbers and guides are visible again.

The same behaviour is evident if you change ANY other values in the Preferences window - as long as the Markers & Rulers tab is NOT clicked on to show the values.

15. Go to Xamarin Preferences
16. Go to Author Information and edit something.
17. Go to Markers & Rulers. Notice all check boxes are still set.
18. Click OK to exit preferences.
19. Notice line numbers and guides are STILL there.

Actual Results:
If Preferences are edited and the Markers & Rulers tab is NOT displayed, then all the check boxes on the Markers & Rulers tab are cleared and XS behaves accordingly.

Expected Results:
The check boxes on Markers & Rulers should not be affected indirectly when editing Preferences.

How often does this happen?
Every time preferences are edited and the Markers & Rulers tab is not displayed.
