Description Abdullah Ibn Nadjo 2016-02-24 08:06:27 UTC
Steps to Reproduce :
1) Activate "Text Editor" -> "Behavior" -> "XML" -> "Automatically insert punctuation" option

2) Start typing a XML attribute in a XAML file, then enter for auto-completion, then it's impossible to use the keyboard anymore (when typing, nothing happens), and if you press an arrow key, Xamarin Studio crashes after having displayed "A fatal error has occurred, details of this error have been automatically sent to Xamarin for analysis. Xamarin Studio will now close.".

Xamarin Studio 6.0 (Build 4520) - OSX 10.11.3

This has been fixed. With 6.0 build 4520 you see the following error in the IDE log when you try to type into an attribute value.

An unhandled exception has occured. Terminating Xamarin Studio? False
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Session not yet started.

I tested a slightly later build 4571 and this problem does not occur.
