Description Martin Stanek 2016-02-20 15:16:22 UTC
I've spend significant amount of time to change Xamarin Like Style code formating to something which can be realy used.
After the update from Xamarin Studio 5.x.y to 6 all my custom settings are gone.

Guys this should never, ever reach the Alpha state. Don't event try to push it to the stable.

Thx, Martin

We changed the formatting engine - we're now using the one from roslyn and are 100% compatible with VS.NET.

Unfortunately that means that we're not longer backwards compatible with individual settings - however general styles like mono/vs.net/k&r should work.

Sorry :(

Which formatting style did you use ? 'really used' can mean a lot - maybe I can do something about that.

Hi Mike,
thank You for looking at it.

It's not really big deal for me to set this stuff again. (I'm using something between pure VS and Java style). Although, I need sync this between 2-3 Macs I'm using for the development.

Can imagine that many people will be complaining.

And Yes, Roslyn is big thing, I know. Altogether with C#6 and tvOS and all that stuff. I can imagine why you are working at Saturday.

Thx, Martin

Ah fixed kind of a ton bugs today already - next week more :/.
Switching to the VS.NET style is the easiest thing to do the new engine hasn't that much of formatting options :(
