Description Matthew Orlando 2016-02-04 17:43:06 UTC
I'm trying to follow recommendations for implementing iOS settings. They all say to add a Settings.bundle/Root.plist file, but there is no template to create plists in Visual Studio.

Furthermore, iOS projects are not supported in Xamarin Studio on Windows, so there seems to be no way to create a plist file except on a Mac.

Even furthermore, if I create an empty Root.plist file on the mac, Visual Studio is unable to open it except in XML mode. If I try to view it in the designer, it treats it as if it's an Info.plist, and brings up the project settings panel with a bunch of empty controls.
