Description adam.lickel 2012-03-09 13:19:57 UTC
xbuild should work for MonoTouch.
I want to be able to automate the following via command line:
* build, clean, etc
* install
* create a signed IPA

I would also accept using mdtool if necessary, but as far as I can tell, that only can handle building and cleaning.

Right now:

* mdtool is able to build (and clean);

* /Developer/MonoTouch/usr/bin/mtouch is able to install, start and kill applications (device or simulator)

* creating IPA exists only inside MonoDevelop iPhone Addin

mdtool should be able to create IPAs as well - simply build a configuration that it set to create an IPA.

If you configure the iPhone IPA options to produce the package, here:

When you build that particular configuration using mdtool, it will produce the binary that you want.

You can add it to an existing configuration, or create a new configuration.
