# Description

The following app demonstrates an issue with font styles, where loading a set of custom fonts and its associated styles (for example, Open Sans with Italic and Bold) will show the font as both a family, with bold and italic as styles, and as separate families for bold and italic.

# Sample

Attached

# Steps to Reproduce

1. Download Sample
2. Open in Xamarin Studio
3. Open Main.storyboard
4. Select the label
5. Attempt to change the font
6. Select Open Sans
7. Select Styles and notice Italic, Bold and Regular
8. Select Open Sans - Italic

# Expected Results

Open Sans - Italic should only be present as a style, not as a separate family

# Actual Results

Italic and Bold are listed as both styles and as a separate family

I checked this issue and we have the same behaviour and code like XCode
Could you screencast the problem or give me more information?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this report! I attempted to reproduce this issue based on the bug description with the latest Visual Studio 2017 for Mac Preview version 7.1, and I was unable to hit the problem. If this issue is still occurring for you, please reopen this report and attach a reproduction, ideally starting with a new template project and then adding just the code necessary to demonstrate the issue.
