Today I updated to latest beta and Assets Catalogs stopped working. I tried removing all catalogs and re-adding them through the Info.plist editor which created a Resources/Images.xcassets folder with AppIcons and LaunchImages folders. Contents had their build action set to ImageAsset, which seems right.
However, after building the project and deploying to the device AppIcons and LaunchImages did not show up.
Reverting back to latest stable, all of the sudden Assets Catalogs work correctly again.
1. Create new iOS app project
2. Open Info.plist
3. Select "create assets catalog" in AppIcons
4. Add icons to AppIcons
No App icons appear on device
