Description Alan McGovern 2016-01-14 14:40:05 UTC
The compiler output is this: https://gist.github.com/alanmcgovern/45026350453245f38e18

But XS tells me there was a build error, even though there doesn't seem to be an errors in the compiler output.

There are also weird errors in my terminal: https://gist.github.com/alanmcgovern/bcd059a680f794ecf73f#file-gistfile1-txt-L526 . It looks like MSBuild is crashing, or something like that.

Alans-MacBook-Air:md-addins alan$ mono --version
Mono JIT compiler version 4.3.2 (mono-4.3.2-branch/ed3e121 Sun Jan 17 18:37:46 EST 2016)
Comment 2 Alan McGovern 2016-01-27 12:16:41 UTC
Perhaps it's caused by a bug in that older mono build. I downgraded yesterday afternoon to work around another problem in the latest mono which is probably why this was showing up again.

I'm upgrading to the latest mono 4.3.2 ( f87e37159da8d0045ae342a00692bc6a3fbbbda2 ) now as the bug i was hitting has been fixed there. I'll let you know if the crashing msbuild thing comes back with that build.
Comment 3 Lluis Sanchez 2016-01-28 18:16:11 UTC
OK, closing for now. Please reopen if it happens again.
Comment 4 Alan McGovern 2016-01-28 22:31:04 UTC
Yup. I meant to close this again. It does seem to definitely be fixed in newer mono 4.3 builds :)

@Alan

Could you please provide your project, so that I can Verify this issue with latest C7 builds.

Thanks!
Comment 8 Alan McGovern 2016-04-15 12:36:07 UTC
this issue used to show up on wrench too, but it hasn't in a long time. I can't share the project I was working on, but since wrench is reliable now and I haven't seen the issue in a while, we should be safe marking it as verified.
Comment 9 Abhishek 2016-04-18 16:59:50 UTC
As per comment 8, this issue is working fine.

Hence closing this issue.

Thanks!
