Description Marek Safar 2012-03-05 08:44:37 UTC
It would be nice to intrinsic string.Empty value, it's the only real blocker from string class to be static ctor free. String itself has quite a lot of static methods used everywhere and this change would help to generate faster/smaller AOT code.

String methods are now inlined when possible so this is not needed.
