I installed MonoDevelop 5.10 on Linux Mint 17.3. First thing after opening MonoDevelop for the first time, I installed the F# language binding plugin as described on the F# website (http://fsharp.org/guides/mac-linux-cross-platform/#editing).
When I try to add a new Console project, I only have the choice for a C#, VB.NET or IL project but no F# option. Am I missing something here?

Since v 6.0, the F# plugin is installed by default. If your distro doesn't already have it, you could try the flatpak version that has no external dependencies - http://www.monodevelop.com/download/linux/
