Description bryan costanich 2016-01-02 19:37:38 UTC
Clone https://github.com/tpetricek/FSharp.Formatting

Open FSharp.Markdown

Note that he has a /Common directory of linked files.

Open MarkdownParser.fs

scroll to line 54.

note that the compiler doesn't like any of the functions defined in those common files.

I just tried this from HEAD and am seeing a completely different error.

DEBUG [2016-01-05 10:17:08Z]: LanguageService: GetProjectCheckerOptions Exception: Microsoft.Build.Exceptions.InvalidProjectFileException: /Users/jason/src/fsharp/FSharp.Formatting/src/FSharp.Markdown/FSharp.Markdown.fsproj: /Users/jason/src/fsharp/FSharp.Formatting/src/FSharp.Markdown/FSharp.Markdown.fsproj could not import "$(SolutionDir)\.paket\paket.targets"

InvalidProjectFileException is weird, that just a fsproj file?
Comment 3 Jason Imison 2016-01-05 13:01:49 UTC
Dave, the fsproj file that is erroring for me is here https://github.com/tpetricek/FSharp.Formatting/blob/master/src/FSharp.Markdown/FSharp.Markdown.fsproj

Doesn't look unusual in any way

There was an issue in the fsproj file preventing it from building https://github.com/tpetricek/FSharp.Formatting/pull/374/files

The file looks fine in XS 6.0. XS 6.0 has a completely new project system, so I'm guessing something in there has fixed your issue.
