If this bug is in 2.8.8, it should be a blocker for release. It's a reasonably series regression as it makes it impossible to debug an application reliably.
Comment 2 Alan McGovern 2012-03-12 17:37:41 UTC
This can be reproduced by creating a new MonoTouch iPhone project using the 'Tabbed Application' template.
Comment 3 Zoltan Varga 2012-03-12 21:54:00 UTC
I can't reproduce this with mt master.
Comment 4 Alan McGovern 2012-03-13 06:09:38 UTC
Let me add QA and see if it exists in whatever release we're about to do then. In case it makes a difference, my desktop mono is Mono JIT compiler version 2.10.9 (tarball Wed Feb 29 17:12:24 EST 2012). Though i assume that is irrelevant for this.
Comment 5 Rodrigo Kumpera 2013-09-08 18:48:24 UTC

Does it still happen?
Comment 6 Alan McGovern 2015-06-23 05:19:06 UTC
Yes, it still happens today with mono 4.0.1
Comment 7 Rodrigo Kumpera 2017-07-11 16:29:54 UTC
I'll call defeat and close this one. If the bug somehow still exists, let's get it filled again.

And, yes, there's no fix category for abandoned.
