Description Przemysław Raciborski 2015-12-15 17:51:26 UTC
If Android project fails to build due to missing reference (ex. dll is deleted or moved) then Visual Studio hangs out infinitely (even after VS restart).

The workaround for bug is "obj" folder cleanup and VS restart.

I have tried this issue and I unable to reproduce this issue.

I have followed these steps:

1. Create an android class library project.
2. Add a class.
3. Add some method to the class.
4. Build the solution.
5. Move the dll of this project to some other location.
6. Create an android app project.
7. Add reference of dll file to this project.
8. Now delete the dll from that location.
9. Build the android project.
10. VS do not hangs insted of that it dispaly an error "the type or namespace could not be found(missing the reference)".

Could you please provide some steps so that I can reproduce this issue at my end.It would be great if you also provide
me IDE logs, build output, Environment info.
