Description matthew.chen 2015-12-10 00:47:58 UTC
When the Repl function is called, in Visual studio under debug mode the whole computer becomes not responding, in Xamarin Studio the test cannot be cancelled or stopped, the same happens when just running the test not under debug mode. No stack trace or other information are available due to these circumstances.

Hi Matthew. We need to properly understand your scenario (and if this is still relevant to you). Is the repl you're using the one in the immediate window of VS or is it the external xamarin specific one?

Sorry for the delay on answering, the bug was initially not on our radar so we missed it completely.

Because we have not received a reply to our request for more information, we are marking this issue as RESOLVED→NORESPONSE. If you are still encountering this issue on the latest Visual Studio 2017 Preview version 15.3, please don’t hesitate to reopen the ticket with the requested information. If you are experiencing this issue in Xamarin Studio on Mac, please be sure to specify that as well. Thanks!
