Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2015-12-04 19:43:59 UTC
The iOS designer outline pad has a ~4px border. This is inconsistent with other pads.

It's to work around bugs in Gtk which are 'unfixable'. If we remove the border you can't drag-resize the pad. It was the only solution we could come up with. Cody would probably have more details if you need em

Could you make it a few pixels less? :)

IMO your answer is UPSTREAM not ANSWERED...
Comment 3 Alan McGovern 2015-12-07 13:56:44 UTC
My understanding is that if we make the border smaller then you will just have the same issue again - you wont' be able to grab the edge to resize the pad in XS.

Ideally we'd figure out the issue with gtk, but failing that it looks like we need a wide enough border so it can be dragged.

Bug #29641 is the original issue. If you want to kill the border then we should re-open the original issue as it has more context.
