Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2015-12-04 19:28:46 UTC
The iOS designer doesn't reload storyboard after it is changed in Xcode. Is it ignoring the XS file change events?
Comment 1 Alex Corrado [MSFT] 2015-12-07 21:31:05 UTC
Yes, we do not subscribe to those events. If we were to, we'd need to decide how to handle the case where the storyboard is dirty in the designer when it detects external changes.

For tracking purposes: https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/issues/3929

The preferred option is for the IDE to automatically do the right thing for all documents intead of *only* doing the right thing for CSharp documents. This would be far more useful than replicating everything ourselves in a way that makes us act differently to the rest of the IDE.
