Error message on launch

The Inspector was working for a few days, but then it disappeared from the UI in Xamarin Studio. I tried reinstalling it, but the package installer failed multiple times. I then uninstalled the Add-In from Xamarin Studio and tried to install again: same result.

Now, when I launch Xamarin Studio, I get prompted by two error windows. The first informs me that Inspector could not be loaded, "Do you want to continue. YES|NO". On "Yes", XS loads, and then presents another error message telling me no less than 6 times that the Inspector add-in could not be loaded.

Here's the installer log:

Comment 2 Nathan Taylor 2015-11-25 15:12:21 UTC
I extracted the package file and isolated the problem to the postinstall script. The script's call to chown was invalid, providing a group of "root:root". I removed that line and ran the script independently without error.
Comment 3 Sandy Armstrong [MSFT] 2015-12-23 15:42:39 UTC
This is fixed in 0.4.0.
