test.cs: using System; class F { public static void Main() { Console.Clear(); } }

$ mono text.exe
(clears screen)

$ mono text.exe < test.cs
(does nothing)

I believe that the ConsoleDriver.IsConsole should be split into two separate properties, one for stdin and another for stdout.

The current design equates any redirection with the use of the dumb terminal.

Making this change is a significant effort, if someone wants to do this, it can be discussed on the mailing list or on a PR.
