I'm on 5.11, but I've seen this on 5.10, as well.

1) Create a new Single-View app.
2) Open storyboard in designer.
3) Lovingly and painstakingly craft a complicated UI with a bunch of constraints.
4) Select a widget, and click it to switch to constraints mode.
5) Click the "x" to the right of "CONSTRAINTS" in the designer ("Remove existing constraints").

The constraints go away, and the widget remains.

Randomly: BOOM. Widget gone.

I know, Heisenbug. I hope this repros and can be tracked down.

When this issue happens can you attach the log files from XS in case there's anything interesting there?
Comment 2 Alan McGovern 2015-11-11 12:25:48 UTC
From your description i don't think this is a duplicate of bug 35641. However i wouldn't mind if you can double check with the latest master builds because the fix for bug 35641 landed and if it makes this problem go away, that'd be great!
Comment 3 Mike Norman 2015-11-12 12:41:48 UTC
I'm unable to repro on the latest RC. I'll leave it to you, Alan, to mark it Not Repro if you think we're out of the woods.
Comment 4 Alan McGovern 2015-11-12 14:13:44 UTC
If we don't have a solid repro for this then it's as likely to be bug 35641 as it is anything else. That bug would've made it look like widgets were vanishing when you closed a storyboard and re-opened it.

We'll just close this as a dupe unless more information surfaces showing it's actually something else.
