Why is XM merging the public mono runtime into the executable, instead of the runtime it includes ?

Because Xamarin.Mac Classic uses system mono. It's only Xamarin.Mac Unified (Mobile and XM 4.5) that ship their own runtime @Zoltan.

Does Xamarin.Mac classic support llvm ? Maybe we can disable llvm support in the libmono used by xam.mac.
