Description Vincent Roggero 2015-10-27 14:25:30 UTC
- From storyboard in IB ctrl-drag from button to assistant editor viewcontroller.h
- Use connection=Outlet and enter name. Save storyboard.
- XS updates to include the new button property.
- In ViewDidLoad add;
this.btnGetStarted.TouchUpInside += (sender, e) =>
   Console.WriteLine("Get Started button...");

- Delegate is not called

- In IB set connection=Action. Name the action. Add action to view controller class. Action is called when button is selected.

Hi Vincent! TouchUpInside doesn't work on tvOS buttons since the TV is not a touchscreen. I'd recommend using PressesBegan or PrimaryActionTriggered.

Assigning to docs team.

Hi All,

This is already covered in our UIButton documentation here:

However, I'm adding a specific note that while still a part of the API, events like TouchUpInside are not supported on Apple TV hardware.
