Something went wrong

I have my PC (Windows 10) and MAC updated to v6.0 (C6), after i established a connection between both. I tried to check out the new Designer, which failed with the following error message (see attachment).

Something went wrong.

The iOS Designer Mac Agent is not available.

Start Designer Agent

Clicking on "Start Designer Agent " will result in a loop and give me the exact same screen again.

Please provide the Help > About versioning information on VS, and attach the Help > Zip Xamarin Logs as soon as you hit this error.

Hi Daniel, i found the error already in the xamarin log. I wasn't logged in with the user, i entered for the remote connection. After i logged in with the user on the "Mac Mini" it seems to work. A notification about that error would be nice.

"Xamarin.Messaging.Client.Ssh.SshCommandRunner Error: 0 : [2015-10-13 11:26:01.9413] An error occured starting the IDB agent: The user 'test' must be logged in on the mac in order to start the agent. Please make sure the user 'test' is logged in and try to connect to the mac again."

I'am now in the situation that i see the loading bar, but the designer never loads.

Okay the problem is solved after 90 seconds of loading i got the iOS Designer.

I have added more explicit logging to the Output window (Xamarin) to make this error easier to troubleshoot. It will show the same message shown in the log right after trying to start the agents.
