Description Marek Safar 2012-02-14 14:16:26 UTC
For whole run use step into only (F11)

class C
	public static void Main ()
		new C ().Method ();  // Set a breakpoint here and step into (F11) until you hit "return 1";
	int Method ()
		return 1; // This line is never hit
Comment 1 Zoltan Varga 2012-02-14 14:36:33 UTC
Fixed in HEAD. It still takes two steps to step through the closing }.

Also, the line number table contains a duplicate entry:

Line number table for method C:Method ():
IL0 -> /home/zovarga/work/Hello/Hello/Main.cs:9
IL1 -> /home/zovarga/work/Hello/Hello/Main.cs:10
IL8 -> /home/zovarga/work/Hello/Hello/Main.cs:11
IL8 -> /home/zovarga/work/Hello/Hello/Main.cs:11

There are no duplicates in symbol file. My dump gives me

    <method token="0x6000002">
        <entry il="0x0" row="9" file_ref="1" hidden="false" />
        <entry il="0x1" row="10" file_ref="1" hidden="false" />
        <entry il="0x8" row="11" file_ref="1" hidden="false" />
      <locals />
      <scopes />
