Description Dermot 2012-02-12 02:06:40 UTC
Would be great to be able to select which connected iOS device I want to deploy & debug on, rather than having to disconnect and re-connect devices all the time. Particularly useful when writing networked apps.

mtouch upload/run/kill currently doesn't support specifying the device
Comment 2 Sebastien Pouliot 2012-02-13 18:47:13 UTC
mtouch (master / 5.3) supports this

MD iPhone addin needs to be updated to show a device selector (or something similar)
Comment 3 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-02-21 14:23:51 UTC
I have a MD branch locally that adds a "device manager" that can be used to track devices, and parameterizes everything to allow specifying a device. It doesn't yet have UI nor does it pass the options to mtouch.

Regarding UI, we should start off like the Android addin, with with a device selector menu and a set of "run with" entries for each device.

This is implemented now afaik
Comment 5 Nischal 2013-03-19 07:43:42 UTC
With the latest builds:

MFA 4.6.01072
GTK 2.12.20

And now it gives the option to select from the connected devices, through Project menu item >> Android Device Target.

Hence, closing this issue.
