SWRevealViewController Binding

I have project that is using a binding for the SWRevealViewController. (https://github.com/John-Lluch/SWRevealViewController).

Yesterday i update the binding to the unified API and it was working. Today i updated Xamarin and i suppose mtouch. Since then i am unable to compile the project.

Xamarin version is 5.9.7 build 9

Mono 4.0.4 ((detached/cb6d6b2)
GTK+ 2.24.23 (Raleigh theme)
Package version: 400040002

Apple Developer Tools
Xcode 6.1 (6604)
Build 6A1052d

Version: (Indie Edition)
Hash: d230615
Branch: master
Build date: 2015-09-16 17:04:13-0400

Operating System
Mac OS X 10.9.5
Comment 1 ds 2015-09-18 05:46:39 UTC
After i downgraded back to the version, the project is compiled and can be used on a real device.

On the simulator it fails when loading:

Could not create an native instance of the type 'SWRevealViewControllerBinding64.SWRevealViewController': the native class hasn't been loaded.
It is possible to ignore this condition by setting ObjCRuntime.Class.ThrowOnInitFailure to false.

Can you zip up and attach your project, so that I can reproduce this myself?

QA: unit tests were added.

I am able to reproduce this issue with XI and observed that this issue is working fine with monotouch-

Hence closing this issue by marking it as Verified.
Comment 8 Mohit Kheterpal 2015-10-08 06:21:07 UTC
I have checked this issue with C6 XI i.e. monotouch- and observed that this issue does not exist with C6 build of XI.
Comment 9 ds 2015-10-08 06:48:42 UTC

Thanks for the update.

When should this update be on the stable channel if i may ask?

Comment 10 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2015-10-09 04:23:18 UTC
This fix is included in the current version of Xamarin.iOS in the stable channel.
