1. open the attached sample project.
2. launch it.

You will see the App menu "Test4" which is the value of CFBundleName in Info.plist

Expected Result:
It should show the label "Test" which is defined in MainMenu.xib.

As you can see here:


"CFBundleName is the one that's used for the title of the Application menu item and its menu at run time."

This is determined by Apple.
