Description Falko Schindler 2015-07-17 04:45:59 UTC
Since Xamarin.Forms 1.4.4-pre1 I get the following exception when I start debugging an app while the Android device is still locked.

[MonoDroid] System.ArgumentException: inputView should be of type EditText, SearchView, or TextView
[MonoDroid] at Xamarin.Forms.Platform.Android.KeyboardManager.HideKeyboard (Android.Views.View,bool) <IL 0x00061, 0x00434>
[MonoDroid] at Xamarin.Forms.Platform.Android.FormsApplicationActivity.OnPause () <IL 0x00007, 0x0004b>
[MonoDroid] at Android.App.Activity.n_OnPause (intptr,intptr) [0x00009] in /Users/builder/data/lanes/1879/5f55a9ef/source/monodroid/src/Mono.Android/platforms/android-15/src/generated/Android.App.Activity.cs:3222
[MonoDroid] at (wrapper dynamic-method) object.b0604714-0c17-4b43-864a-dfd251cfbb49 (intptr,intptr) <IL 0x00011, 0x0003b>
[AndroidRuntime] Shutting down VM

After getting the exception and unlocking the device I see a black screen and the status bar.

When unlocking the device *first* and starting to debug afterwards, there are no exceptions.

Should be fixed in 1.4.4-pre3
