When building mono 220.127.116.11 on 64-bit Solaris 11/x86, after an initial attempt with --disable-dtrace inherited from
a previous mono 3.2.6 build where I had need that option, I tried again without, but ran into a link failure:
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
ld: fatal: symbol referencing errors
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [mono-boehm] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `/vol/obj/mono/mono-4.0.2-sol11/mono/mini'
I've not yet determined what's wrong here.
Solaris/x86 is not a supported platform for mono, we take fixes/pull requests though.
