The "Standard Header" panel in the options should list the available variables and their syntax like ${AuthorName}, ${AuthorEmail}, ${Year}.

This is a valuable feature which many developers (and project owners) would benefit from rather than having to google and sift for the answer.

If possible, could i submit a .patch file as a suggestion for this? It would be based off of the StandardHeaderService.cs file.

You can use the StringTagSelectorButton widget for this. It's used elsewhere for this purpose. Maybe you could factor out a GetTagModel method on the StandardHeaderService class.
