I have checked this issue with the help of sample code provided in bug description and observed that RowDefinition Binding does not work properly. To reproduce this issue I have implemented the code provided in bug, run the app and observed that getter part of property ToolbarHeight (for Grid RowDefinition binding) does not call on click of button "Click".

@Prashant: no, it's a bug. that was a note to myself or the team when we will fix it.
Comment 5 Jason Smith [MSFT] 2015-07-08 04:59:23 UTC
Should be fixed in 1.4.4-pre1
Comment 6 Parmendra Kumar 2015-07-15 09:41:51 UTC
I have checked this issue with XF 1.4.4-pre1 and observed that ToolbarHeight (for Grid RowDefinition binding) called successfully.

Screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/ZJln3b573Li

If I am using XF 1.4.4-pre1, Observed that Label doesn't appear when I use Grid.Row
Screencast for the same: http://www.screencast.com/t/BIJDU50bCTU
So I have filed a separate bug: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=31967
