On the XMA branch of XVS, I am unable to launch the adb command prompt via VS. Currently, on build 126.96.36.199 (d0cf16c), the adb command prompt fails to launch and the user is prompted with an error message. On stable (XVS 3.11.586) I am successfully able to launch the adb command prompt.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start Visual Studio 2013
2) Select Tools > Android > Android Adb Command Prompt...
3) Observe the adb command prompt fail to launch, with VS prompting "Command did not execute successfully due to an unexpected exception. Please check the output window for additional information."
Supplemental information: adb.exe appeared in the task manager after attempting to launch through VS. When I tried to terminate adb.exe, it kept relaunching. The Xamarin log stated "Adb connection reset" each time but I was still unable to launch adb through VS.
Environment info: https://gist.github.com/dylankelly5/717a69c3f85f8bfe694e
this is fixed Build 188.8.131.527
I have checked this issue with latest XVS 184.108.40.2069 and observe that Android Adb Command Prompt launches successfully without any error.
Hence closing this issue.
