The Switch control exposes BackgroundColor, but does not expose any other colors. On Windows Phone, the Switch control uses at least three more colors (I have set BackgroundColor to Pink, but can also see white, black and green (accent?) being used.
Setting BackgroundColor without being able to set the other colors generates a display that is of dubious value depending on what the background color is. All of the colors used need to be exposed to make setting BackgroundColor useful.
