When the background color ends at the last character of a line, it should not extend to the right edge of the text editor. However, when it does not end at the character, it should extend to the edge as it does currently.

I must admit that I never understand what the bug is about.
But setting the monitor contrast did do wonders - that's the last time I buy a cheap one :(

... anyways that's fixed now (at least that's what I see on my screen)

Thanks, unfortunately it regressed, now regions with a background color cannot extend across lines, e.g.

<%= foo

.tt files work for me.

was a asp.net highlighting bug - unrelated to that one.

(I think that the bug wasn't visible before, but it was there)
