When hardware accelerated virtualisation is not available on the host (for example, when Hyper-V is enabled), Lollipop devices run unusably slowly. Kitkat and Jellybean devices do not have this issue.

I don't think it's practical or maybe even possible to fix this, with hardware acceleration disabled slowdowns should be expected.
