Description Claudio Rodrigo Pereyra Diaz 2015-04-30 09:37:46 UTC
In http://www.monodevelop.com/download/ indicate "The latest stable release is 5.9.0"
But the are non tarball yet for that version.

Same problem has been reported in https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=12709 and https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16969 before for other version releases.

Will be good generate tarball before update Download page, and/or automatize the task of deploy tarball with new version.

Sorry, I forgot to upload this to the sources folder.

In general, if a binary package has been released, you can grab the tarball used to generate it from http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian/pool/main/m/monodevelop/

Hello, now the tarball for last release 5.9.4.2 is corrupted.
Verify in http://download.mono-project.com/sources/monodevelop/ the size off tarball is 6.6 MB when espected to be more than 20 MB

Verify to when try uncompress the file

bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
	perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
bzip2: Success
	Input file = /home/cpereyra/rpmbuild/SOURCES/monodevelop-5.9.2.4.tar.bz2, output file = (stdout)

And monodevelop-database tarball is oudate from 5.7 version. Please upload that to.

Thanks

I've deleted the corrupted tarball. There's a problem building tarballs of 5.9.4.2, I need to re-issue it.
