Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-01-17 14:08:19 UTC
The behaviour of Gdk.Rectangle.Right and Gdk.Rectangle.Bottom has changed between GTK# versions, which means that all uses of these are now suspect, and may cause off-by-ones in rendering and mouse input.

We need to audit them and replace them with a custom helper.

Ouch, what a breaking change.

This appears to be the cause of bug 1757.

This also affects the addin manager: http://screencast.com/t/O4C0jMbqHxg

Since this is a change in Gtk# that should eventually be distributed uniformly across all platforms, our best course of action is to adjust MonoDevelop to the new semantics.

As part of the UI redesign a lot of the UI will change anyways, we will just embrace the new look and fix as we go.

Everything is rendering ok now.
