Description Adam 2015-04-17 07:45:25 UTC
On Windows Phone when you set an Entry control to IsPassword="true" when you start typing in the password you can no longer see the cursor and it appears as though the control loses focus.

This only seems to affect Windows Phone. I have tested on iOS and it works as expected.
Comment 1 Ram Chandra 2015-04-28 09:49:24 UTC
I have checked this issue and I am able to reproduce the reported behavior.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create Xamarin.Forms(Portable project)
2. Use the following code in App() method.

      new Entry

3. Build and deploy the project in windows emulator.

Observation: When I set the IsPassword property of Entry control to true, I observed that the Entry control doesn't show the cursor.

Screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/CSSzUvnpPbTN

Note: I am not getting this behavior on android and iOS.

Actually it is still reproduced on emulator also.
Comment 8 E.Z. Hart [MSFT] 2016-02-03 18:38:49 UTC
Serj - I've just tried it again on both an emulator and a device in Windows Phone 8.1 and I am not seeing the behavior described in the bug report.

If you're still seeing an issue with this on, could you attach a repro project?

Thank you.
