Solution to reproduce the bug

Sending messages that are larger than 65536 bytes fail with message: "The message is too large". The same code runs on Microsoft .NET runs fine.

TcpBinaryFrameManager.cs has hardcoded limit:
public byte [] ReadSizedChunk ()
  if (length > 65536)
    throw new InvalidOperationException ("The message is too large.");

Thanks for the report, it seems that this is an old limitation that should no longer be there according to the spec here:


The fix is in Mono 2-10
