Description Prashant Cholachagudda 2015-04-03 06:34:05 UTC
InputTransparent does not work in Windows Phone while it works well on iOS and Android.

To reproduce the bug, (use XF 1.4 or 1.4.2-pre2).

Create a new Mobile Application and change the App.Cs with:

public App()
var parentGrid = new Grid();

//Child at back of the UI
var btnBack = new Button();
btnBack.Text = "Test KO";
btnBack.Clicked += btn_Clicked;
btnBack.TranslationX = -75;
btnBack.WidthRequest = 50;
btnBack.HeightRequest = 50;
btnBack.VerticalOptions = LayoutOptions.Center;
btnBack.HorizontalOptions = LayoutOptions.Center;

//Visual element
var rectangle = new Grid();
rectangle.BackgroundColor = Color.Blue;
rectangle.Opacity = 0.5;
rectangle.InputTransparent = true;

//Child at back of the UI
var btnFront = new Button();
btnFront.Text = "Test OK";
btnFront.Clicked += btn_Clicked;
btnFront.TranslationX = 75;
btnFront.WidthRequest = 50;
btnFront.HeightRequest = 50;
btnFront.VerticalOptions = LayoutOptions.Center;
btnFront.HorizontalOptions = LayoutOptions.Center;

// The root page of your application
MainPage = new ContentPage
Content = parentGrid

void btn_Clicked(object sender, EventArgs e)
//Just a test
throw new NotImplementedException();
