Description Jeremy Kolb 2015-03-25 11:00:17 UTC
If I create a custom view or use a widget that's not provided by the built in android framework it should render in the designer and not just an annoying grey box that's the wrong size. It makes the designer unusable.

Is this actually a duplicate issue?
Comment 3 Jeremy Kolb 2015-06-03 16:05:09 UTC
This issue is getting worse now that we have the material design library with even more custom widgets. The designer is basically useless.
