Description Michael Stonis 2015-03-23 17:28:44 UTC
Whenever I open up a layout, it does not render controls. It will show the controls rough approximate sizes on the screen when clicked, but the actual controls are not displayed.

Screencast: https://imgur.com/IHna5rK

This is not the "connection to layout render failed" issue as detailed here: http://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/32365/connection-to-the-layout-renderer-failed-in-xs-5-7-and-xamarinvs-3-9#latest.

This occurs in both Xamarin Studio and Visual Studio 2013.

I have tried to reproduce this issue but unable to reproduce it. To reproduce this issue I have followed below steps:

1. Open XS or VS.
2. Create Android Application.
3. Open layout.
4. Drag any widgets to layout from toolbar.

Widgets are getting displayed correctly.

Screencast for XS: http://www.screencast.com/t/p0qyXbzHxZ
Screencast for VS: http://www.screencast.com/t/zBKe2CCKn9

Could you please provide us a sample app, ide log and android-tool log. So we can reproduce this issue at our end.
For XS you will get logs via Help >Open Log Directory.

And for VS, please Zip Xamarin log via Help > Zip Xamarin Logs.
