Description troy-dawson 2015-03-16 21:52:49 UTC
Taking the SceneKit project template in a new Xamarin.Mac Unified project, changing the animation code in GameViewController.cs to:

	// retrieve the ship node
	var ship = scene.RootNode.FindChildNode("ship", true);

	ship.RunAction(SCNAction.RepeatActionForever(SCNAction.Run(handler: (node) => node.Position = new SCNVector3(0, 4, 0))));

	// set the scene to the view
	MyGameView.Scene = scene;

results in the app not beginning drawing, just hanging.

Changing the above RunAction call to:

	ship.RunAction(SCNAction.RepeatAction(SCNAction.Run(handler: (node) => node.Position = new SCNVector3(0, 4, 0)), count: 100000));

results in correct behavior.

Oops, checking this in Xcode I see this is correct behavior!
