We have a universal iOS app and recently added a WatchKit app and extension to the solution file. When we try to deploy our app to the iPad, it fails with the following error:
AMDeviceSecureInstallApplicationBundle returned: 0xe80000b1 (This app contains an app extension that specifies an extension point identifer that is not supported on this version of iOS for the value of the NSExtensionPointIdentifier key in its Info.plist.)
The app runs in the iPad Simulator.
Which iOS version is your device?
It worked OK with 8.1.3.
Can you upload all your Info.plists (from the .app, not the ones in your project, since the Info.plist files are modified during the build)? Most likely this is an incorrect bundle id somewhere.

info.plist files for container app, watch app, and watch extension
*** Bug 28082 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This is because the extension's Info.plist requires this:
adding it manually makes the app deploy successfully.

Thanks for the workaround.
Note that particular key does not exist in a Xcode universal app that includes a WatchKit app.
@Tim, Xcode adds it automatically as a part of their build process (the value is in the final app, but not in the project)
I have checked this issue and observed that this issue is working fine. Now user is able to deploy the "WatchKitCatalog" sample on iPad 4 Version:8.2, successfully without any error/exception.
This issue has been fixed, hence I am closing this issue.
