The stack trace textbox is scrolled all the way to the bottom and all the way to the right. It should be scrolled all the way to the left and all the way to the top.

This has either been fixed or just doesn't happen with Mono and MD from master. Can you try exporting 'MONODEVELOP_TEST_CRASH_REPORTING=1' and then clicking on the 'Feedback' button. This ends up with an alert dialog which is scrolled correctly (top left). Could it be some weird issue with certain kinds of stacktrace?

I'm using Mono

Unfortunately I fixed the crash bug that was allowing me to get this crash dialog.

The stack trace I had gotten was from a NRE, I don't think it has anything to do with that :-\

Strange... I created a bug to cause an exception dialog with enough (wide) lines to force scrollbars in both directions and it is correctly positioned in the top-left.

It's also weird, though, because I'm only seeing an "OK" button. There's no "Report this error"-type buttons at all.

Are there 2 different dialogs for showing exceptions?

There is one dialog but the buttons change depending on whether or not you have opted in. You can pretend that you have not opted in by exporting 'MONODEVELOP_TEST_CRASH_REPORTING=prompt'. Once you opt in you are just given the 'Ok' button.

Maybe this was a temporary issue which was fixed before you updated. I haven't been able to repro this at all and i've seen a bunch of crash dialogs. Should this one be closed or have you been able to reproduce recently?

let's close it
