Description Dominic N [MSFT] 2015-02-24 17:33:24 UTC
## Overview

We have a report of a failure using InvokeIcon(BitmapDescriptorFactory.FromAsset("mymarker.png")) in Android. The attached sample code loads the custom image file in iOS, but not in Android. InvokeIcon(BitmapDescriptorFactory.DefaultMarker(BitmapDescriptorFactory.HueBlue)) works in both Android and iOS.

## Steps to reproduce

1. Download sample app
2. Run app in iOS
3. Click 'Marker' button
4. Run app in Android
5. Click 'Marker' button

## Expected results

Custom marker shows on map in both Android and iOS.

## Actual results

Custom marker shows up in iOS. Default marker shows in Android.

This is not a forms issue, the problem is in their custom renderer code.

Thank you Jason. Can you show me the fix?

Jason, can you share the corrected code? Thanks.
