Currently, the output that we generate when we use --xcode generates files with .6.s (ARMv6 I suspect), but our generated XCode project does not reference the .6.s files, instead the .s files.
The other problem is that we generate a "-u", "_catch_exception_raise" in the project file, and this symbol does not seem to be there in newer versions of the OS, so we might want to take that puppy out, or alternatively, find out why mtouch LD invocation works, but the one in the xbuild project doesnt.
Fixed the first part of the problem (the .6.s and .7.s with .s)
Fixed the -u _catch_exception_raise bug by only adding that for iphonesimulator targets and not for iphoneos targets in the generated project.pbxproj file.
Only remaining bug is to copy over the Info.plist file...
Okay, from what I can tell, mtouch only copyies Info.plist over to the output dir if it is specified in a -res:Info.plist argument. The bug in mtouch was that it always made the project.pbxproj reference an Info.plist even if one wasn't included as a resource.
I've fixed the bug where mtouch would always reference an Info.plist even if it wasn't passed as a resource, but maybe that isn't what we ultimately want?
Right now users would need to do:
Is this what we want?
I'm thinking we want the XcodeTarget code-path to pull in Info.plist if it can find it
--xcode has been deprecated.
