Not sure if this is intended behavior or not, but AudioFile::Open (string, ...) uses CFUrl.FromUrlString, given that there is also a Open (CFUrl ... ), I'd expect CFUrl.FromFileName to be used there.

Audio File Services makes the input much more clear by naming the open function AudioFileOpenWithUrl

Blah, sorry I mean AudioFile::OpenRead, which unfortunately does not have a CFUrl overload.

I can easily add a OpenRead overload that takes a CFUrl.

I guess the only way to prevent any confusing as to what's done in the string overload is to document the methods properly.
